Mitie bolsters its risk management credentials with new 行业 certification

• Mitie continues to bolster its risk management expertise with the attainment of the ISO 22301 certification

• Mitie underwent rigorous auditing across the business, including operational functions, locations and customer accounts, before being recommended for the ISO 22301 certification

• Its recent acquisition of Linx 国际 Group adds further risk expertise to its customer offering

Mitie, the UK’s leading security provider, is continuing to bolster its risk management and business continuity credentials through the attainment of the ISO 22301 certification. ISO 22301 is the international standard for 业务 Continuity Management Systems (BCMS), which represents the highest level of commitment to business resilience and disaster preparedness.

The certification demonstrates that Mitie’s risk management function has the appropriate level of expertise in business resilience that meets international standards and recognises its ability to help maintain the critical operations of its customers and partners in the event of a major disruption to business operations.

During the process Mitie underwent rigorous assessments using a blended approach (remote and site based) where 20 different business areas, customer sites and operational locations, including its Technical Service Operations Centre (TSOC), 情报中心, 及集团业务, 被审计. / (1,000 pieces of information were assessed across the company, of which several areas of best practice were highlighted, leading to the company attaining the ISO 22301 certification.

This was bolstered by the recent acquisition of Linx 国际 Group, a risk management consulting business which provides a range of specialist security, risk management and investigative services.
